Charity rummaging
Saturday, 8 September 2007, 22:53I spent a little time today clearing out some old clothes to give away. Which is a sure way to stir up some wonder, pride and self-congratulation (and, because I am after all still me [they don't warn you about that at the weight loss clinic!], also watch all the worries about being back to that size someday skitter around in the corners and under the floor-tiles of my mind).
I remember some of these shirts. I didn't like them, exactly, but I wore them a lot. I need more loud fiery Hawaiian shirts. Well, before next summer; I no longer possess the insulation to wear such things in the winter. (And that's assuming there is a summer next year. There wasn't one this year, except for April.)
I should put on some of these old clothes before they're ditched and take some photos, except I hate 'motivational' shit like that and probably won't bother. ;) Need a better photo of me in my fire|coat, though!
Because FoxyTunes has a WordPress plugin, even though I shouldn't be admitting to this:

Now playing: Prince Ali (Aladdin) - Tommy Tallarico/Alan Menken [chiptune from the soundtrack of the Sega Megadrive game]
via FoxyTunes
(I got the VGZ from here, and you need something like Chipamp to play them.) The soundtrack to this game contains what is, no kidding, the best piece of music ever. Slen agrees with me that metal cover versioning must happen forthwith.
