Conehead (Hershey, he with the funnel collar) has been pretty exceptional, considering. We've had no more major disagreements about whether we can attack nice horsies. I'm feeling a bit more like I've got my alpha on. I fielded phone calls today without cracking up or making a yutz of myself, so in fact I'm feeling fairly invincible. No, it doesn't take much.

Today on our walk I cracked Hershey's tendency to follow the command he wants to, not the one you give (I say Come, he sits; I say Down, his command for lie down, and he sits; I say Sit, he sits). I cracked this by sheer annoyance tactic. Each time I let him get up and he'd walked a couple of steps, I stopped him again and made him either lie down or sit. We collectively got very hot, very tired and very cross (and I was ten minutes late to get back to work), but he started obeying out of sheer frustration.

And work's going well.

Film reviews, since I brought seven DVDs for the week I'm here: MirrorMask the other night was good, yesterday's Fantastic Four I've seen before and is quite ok. I'm very keen on Torch's attitude as portrayed. Eat that, Cleavage Girl wangsters. Tonight is Serenity, because for SOME reason I've been slightly put off trying Labyrinth.
