We have our trial back-coddling chairs now; they're ergonomic and adjustable in about eight ways and try to catapult me out of them when I shift my weight forward. Mine has a squeeze bulb. How good is that?
Also, they have just dug up a (believed) World War II bomb over the road. Cordons are appearing, sacré bleu.
Man, nothing ever happens here...

Bear cub craze thrills Berlin Zoo

Whereas THIS IS NOT NEWS AT ALL!
They've updated the story since I last saw it to put in a few more 'newsy' facts, as opposed to telling the stories of these fictional characters, but GRR.
The BBC has denied reports it plans to "dumb down" its shows. LMHHAO. Only because you couldn't dumb them down any further. BBC programmes insult my intelligence, possibly on balance more than ITV and C4 (at least you know what you're getting with Four, whereas you expect some minimal quality from the Beeb).
Even while watching Doctor Who for sheer crackish escapism, I feel like I'm being talked down to. One thing Davies does that I loathe is facile moralising.

The word "controversial" should not be allowed to form any part of a reason not to do anything. *seethes* It should automatically be overruled by (such minor unimportant factors as) "it actually happened".
