LOLhealer, LOLmonk
Wednesday, 30 January 2008, 17:05I found a site that turns any RSS feed into LOLcats.
Yes, the things those wacky folks on the BBC Backstage mailing list do for fun. Anyway. I plugged in one of the feeds from my writing site and lo, some characters from our encyclopaedia were cast as cats.
Two of them had me blinking and saying "Aren't those the same cat?" I give you (uploaded to Photobucket to spare his bandwidth and because they'll presumably drop out of the cache soon):
• 'Siri' (source, character)
• 'Weft' (source, character)
Who aren't the same cat, but are very possibly relatives, and were taken by the same photographer in the same location. Which is eerie. (For those who don't know the characters, they fight like cats in a sack.)
The Weft one is perfect. He's got that broad, nasty face and the expression that says "What can I murder horribly for you, brother? What? Huh?" The stance is a little sloppy, but he looks appropriately battered. And those sickly green eyes...
Yes, I'm well aware that I could Photoshop some Impact font on some CC-licensed cats by myself, but the random factor is what makes it funny.
Incidentally, the ear clips likely mean the cats are neutered. No comment.
Liverpool lad talks about Auschwitz (not humour) - for all who claim the nation's youth is nothing but selfish yobs, want some ketchup for your words?
