Latest artistic extravaganza!

For the Jack forum art exchange. Prof Hunnydew requested blind dates of their character with the entrants’ various characters. So, of course, I put in my favourite of all.

The oddest of odd couples – full picture and text behind cut.

This week on Dating with the Enemy, how has our unlikely couple enjoyed their day together?

Professor: “A petting zoo, huh? How do they come up with these activities?”

Basaltine: “You wanna watch out for this one, Bambs. I think he’s trying ta fleece us and bail on us. You know, go on the lam.”

Piglet: [is in hog heaven. Not moving, thank you.]

We paired Prof Bambi Hunnydew, a professional scientist and cat, with Basaltine, a quad talking dog, stick-fetching consultant and county champion beggar. Let’s see how they got along…

Basaltine: “I have to admit, Bambi, when I first met you I was somewhat skeptical…”

Professor: “Teehee… so was I. But in the end I’ve had a really good time. Better than that Ryan fellow. Man, could he sweat when he got nervous. And I’m not even going to start on that guy who had the still in his barn…”

So, Basaltine, how do you think your date went? And has this changed your opinion of cats?

Basaltine: “Yeah, it was fun. We got talking and I think Bambs likes explosions as much as I do. Has it changed my opinion of cats? Well, she’s charming, well-endowed and smart. Hardly your average moggy. Convince me they’re all like her and yeah, sure, I’ll stop chasing ’em up trees.”

Prof B Hunnydew is the property of her writer, of course.

(Must stop tweaking! It’s a pain to reupload at Photobucket; they don’t let you overwrite, so you have to do all the tagging and stuff again.)
